Well so is a big enough cardboard box.

They just didn't try hard enough to give it some good features. There's nothing about the 04+ trucks that draw me to the truck and make me want one.Plus,I barely see any Single Cab longbeds. It's all Crewcabs with really small beds. The whole truck just has a disproportional look to me.It's all just a matter of personal opinion, and I can promise you i'll never own one.

04+ F150 is more capable than most of the older 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.

I didn't make it very clear.I'm talking about looks.I would drive the crap out of the frame of it,just not the body.

Oh ok, I see what you're saying now. Fortunately looks are a subjective quality, and the buying public at large disagrees with you smilieFordlogo 30-some years as number 1 makes that clear :D

just a thought but have you ever looked at model of truck in your sig. Take a rectangle and start cutting.

Theres not alot of rounded edges on it..

First off...I'd like to know where Paul came from with all this tech talk and the big words.

Secondly...I think this body style 150 is secksy...just wouldn't be willing to pay the window sticker...maybe in 20 years.

As a former stock holder and someone planning on getting back into it, not to mention a huge fan of FoMoCo, I follow their news almost religiously and know pretty mcuh everything there is to know about new Fords coming out. I can say fairly confidently that Ford has their sheot together these days and will be on top for some time.

Unfortunately, you're right.I really wanna see if these trucks will have a following when they get to be 20-30 years old,if they even last that long.

It's square,in all the right ways.I'm very old fashioned, and I honestly think I don't take well to the new stuff.I'm really stubborn with my trucks, and everything(Looks,Performance,Price) has to be right for it to be a good truck. It took me forever to gain an acceptance for the 97-03 trucks.I may one day accept it,but probably not anytime soon.

That's what I'm wondering as well...how many new (2000 and up) trucks will still be running around as plentiful as 30/40/50 year old trucks are today. But I don't just wonder that about Fords, I wonder that about everything on the road.

I'm right there with you man, it took me forever to accept the SD's, until around 04-05. And now the SDs with that new grille, I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to accept them. IMO, if you can't tell...I think the dentsides are by far the sexiest truck ever put on the street, couple that with the ease of working on them. I don't think I'll ever own a truck newer than 96 for personal use unless it's given to me.

Ehhh...they can be made better, but I prefer having power brakes, power steering and not a 360 along with other upgrades and creature comforts right out the gate. Given this is more or less pertaining to 4x4's, but if I want a 2by, I'll buy a car. Regardless, I still think the 73-79 body is by far the sexiest body every produced.
