OD in my E4OD acting funny

ok guys in my 92 Flareside that has a E4OD it has been acting funny the past couple of days. when im in overdrive the truck will be cruising along and it sounds like the engine is reving up and down up and down. its not like its dropping in and out of overdrive. im wondering what could be causing this?

and its only in OD not in 3rd. like if i turn OD off its acting normal.

its this what everyone calls Shuttering?

or maybe its the throttle position sensor?

gonna pull codes in just a couple of minutes...

does the engine revs up and the truck goes any faster? or not?

at what speeds is this?
does it happen only at a certain speed?

My first thought is that the torque converter clutch might be slipping in and out of "locked" mode.

ok the truck when it sounds like its reving up it does not pick up speed or anything.

and the biggest key point is it ONLY does this when the truck is COLD. once it warms up it goes away i found that out this afternoon.

have u checked the trans fluid level? also, does it smelled burned and what color is it. but i agree, partly, it could be the torque converter clutch. the shuddering is more like a low vibration and no acceleration...at least when mine was going that is what it did.

well ever since this instance it hasnt came back. i dont know why it happened.
