Well I discovered this site while searching reviews on a Stihl trimmer but am glad I did because I am about to pull the trigger on a new F150 platinum but not sure whether to go with the 5.0 or upgrade to the 6.2. Thats pretty much the only thing holding me back from squeezing the trigger.

Welcome, you will love it here. I'm new here myself but they treat me like a brother. I guess you would call me just a kid but I'm going to respond to your question on my limited experience. I don't think a 5.0 belongs in a truck. Especially if you are going to actually 'work' the truck. I think it's to little. 5.0 belongs in Mustangs and small family cars. Just my opinion...

But rest assured that there are people here that are on the genius level. They'll get you squared away on your decision.
