My bronks old motor had no compression and a part of the exhaust valve broke on cyl #2. Pull the heads and see, if you dont see anything then its prob rings.
No, my bronk didnt get any better with oil, with the valve missing I still had no compression. A wet test will show if you have bad rings. If you add oil, an it goes up, chances are the rings.
Exactly, that's what I'm saying. If you do the dry test and have no compression, then you do the wet and no improvement, it's more than likely valves. If the compression jumps up/improves, it's rings.
