Good to be here....Already have a question. Battery light came on, instrument panel died. Truck will not start, rapid solenoid click. 3-4 year old battery. Just a bad battery or any other ideas?

Sounds like a dead battery could be the battery,charging system or a short some where.
Charge up the battery and test it.

Welcome! Just like Randy said, try charging the battery up. I've seen batteries die from 3 years to 6. You might also try letting it charge up and have it checked at the parts store.

I'm guessing bad alternator, possibly taken out by a bad battery.
