Hello. I'll get to the point. I bought a 2002 F150 Supercrew and it's got an odor problem. Not sure if its all the febreeze the seller sprayed in it or what. Can someone please give me some advice on what to do. Thanks.

It would be safe to check all of the seals around the windows and doors - it could be a water intrusion problem.

What kind of "odor problem"?

Airing it out might help...but sometimes that's not enough. If there's mold in the HVAC system, I've heard of spraying Lysol or the like into the air intake.

I had an Escort, though...hadn't been smoked in for six years before I got it (one family car- my family) and it still stunk to high hell whenever I left it parked in the sun with the windows closed.

A good carpet scrubbing and seat steaming? In my 87 Bronco, had some used gear oil spill on the rear carpet...you could make the smell better, but it never went away. In reality, you need to locate where the smell is coming from and if it's a 'bad' smell, a 'fancy' smell or a fancy smell to cover up an issue.

Edit...Oh and welcome
