new member with question

New member here, HI everyone. I have a 1996 F-350 Crewcab Powerstroke.
I love it only 184,000 miles on it. The rear tank rotted out last fall. I have a new one but need the fuel line tool to remove the lines. Can someone tell me what kind of tool I need, I see many different one when I look up online. thank you for your help, John smilieFordlogo

The plastic ones will not work real well, as the clips are pretty resistant. At least not the cheap plastic ones... if you can find aluminum, they work better. What you are dealing with is a 3-legged spring lock, they latch real well, but release not so well...

I have the Lisle plastic ones. You have to push the line in, slide the tool in, then pull it out. Very easy. I have 2 sets at my job.
