new member first truck build


This is my truck first v8 truck build have seen some really nice ones on here so im always open to others opinions its a 72 f250 2wd hopefully be repainted matte blue by next month picked it up for 400 bucks guy said it ran great when parked says its a 390 with 2bbl and c6 was woundering on lowering these things any advice would help

I'm not too familiar with dropping, but I'm pretty sure there are kits made for such a thing and from the posts I've seen here, the rear can be dropped by removing a leaf or two.
 
I dont know either on lowering this one.The rear is easy,but went an looked
at my front end just now,an it has a straight axle style with coil springs.
But with that,Im not quite sure if it can be done,It may can be done alittle
on the coils.
I watch car builders,an seen were they swap the entire suspension out
with a crown vic.

Owing to the nature of the twin-I beam, you really can't drop it by messing with the coils and nothing else as it with throw the geometry out of whack. I think the kits have offset I-beams or possibly a drop type bracket for the radius arms.

I remember the name of a company now that has been mentioned here before.
