New in indiana

Hello, i live in northern indiana, and just traded my 96 dodge van for this 80 ford 4x4 truck, i will post a picture of it later, once i read how you do it on the forum. I know its not the greatest looking truck , and alot of you will probally tell me to junk it, but it runs great, it has a straight six with a stick. Also i love restoring trucks, so body work isnt a problem, it will be the first ford 4x4 of this body style i have restored. Iam a 78/79 ford truck nut. So iam here to learn about these trucks from the best people, So hello everyone.

Welcome! That doesn't look any worse than some of our trucks around here. It has the normal lace curtain fenders on the box and cab floor.

24 years ago I bought my 86 F150 4x4 in Wakarusa, IN. I still have it and it is on its 3rd engine, has 350,000+ on the clock and is still going strong. You just can't kill these things. I put a newer box on mine about 10 years ago. You can see the road under your feet where the floor is eaten away... midwest salt did that of course.
