Hello all,
An old friend, mtflat, recommended this site to me so I thought I'd stop in and say hello.
Hello
I frequent a couple of sites on the internet with a variety of interests. My main toy is a 1949 Ford F1 that I'm tinkering with. When I got the truck it was pretty rough so I didn't feel too bad about hacking into it and modifying things. I swapped out the flat 6 and 4spd for a 500ci Caddy with aTH400 trans. I've added a 9" rear diff, converted the front brakes to power disc, added Toyota power steering, etc. I basically have parts on my truck ranging from the 1940's up through the 2000's from most all of the major manufactures; Ford, GMC, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Buick, Toyota, Dodge, Chrysler, marine parts, and general hardware store items.....lol
From what Tim has told me I probably know several of the guys in the 48-52, and the 53-56 forums. Looking forward to participating in the board
