Tony, you're a genius.

Now I just need to find somebody to make me a couple of them stickers- you wouldn't believe how much the local Ford dealer's body shop charged the insurance company for the one that's on the passenger door (truck was hit in a parking lot before I owned it). I think it was $175 for the one sticker.

I'm mostly curious whether this is an interference engine...IIRC, one Escort motor is, one isn't- but I don't know how to tell which one I have. And on the transmission fluid- can I just drain/refill, or should I take it and have it thoroughly flushed somewhere?

If I have it straight in my head, I believe the DOHC is the interference engine, and the SOHC is the non-interference engine.
