Need some help please..........!

Ok guys I'm at a lose here the gauge lights are out and I don't know what to do now i've checked the fuse

What I have found is there is no juice going to my gauge lights
what I want to know is what could be causing this can some one please tell me which wires are the wires that go to the gauge lights
I would like to know before I start tracing wires back.

And could any of these things have any thing to do with the lights going out.

The SPECIAL Blue coded fuse is hard to find in stores.

And so you mean the blue and the red wire or blue red striped wire.

Could be the plug on the headlight switch or the switch. The plug sometimes gets corroded.

I checked that Rob he seems to be working good.
I know the fuse isn't bad because all those other things are working.
Ok I checked the red and blue wire is getting no power.
Do I need to cut open the harness and start tracing wires?

I would say the switch. the dimmer that is built in the switch can go out. I have ran into this once or twice in the past. Try to swap in another switch and see if that is it if you have one handy.

I can pop the one out of my truck.
But I checked all the wires coming/going out of the switch and they are all juice

So next I'd pull the harness at the cluster and verify that there's power there. If not I'd look at a schematic, backtrack to the splice/junction on that curcuit, and check for juice at that point. If so (power at gauge lights), I'd verify that the ground for the lights on the cluster is good. I assume there's at least one good bulb in the cluster.

When you turn the headlight switch knob it turns the rheostat.

Brighter- dimmer lights

On the other hand, if the light on the heater controls is working and the brightness can be changed with the dimmer, then you can rule out that dimmer.

And they dim when you rotate the knob on the headlight switch too?
