Hey guys...dad's water pump PULLEY straight broke tonight. I've called O'reilly's, Autozone, Advanced, and a couple other places. No one even has a listing for a water pump pulley for a 1995 Cadillac Sedan Deville with a 4.9. They even went above the call of duty and checked their books. Anybody have any other ideas where to find one? Outside diameter is 5.125", inner diameter is 2.875". The part number is 354 78 46-MP

Thanks in advance.

That might be a Dealer ship part or you might have to pull it off a junker..

Thanks Tex...I just did a quick search on JEGs...nadda...Summit has ONE pulley, but I dunno if it'll work. Just signed up on a caddy site...and they pretty much said it was gonna be a dealership part and/or from a junk yard.

I don't know much about GM motors...but a buddy has a '97 Olds Aurora with a V8 that is, I've been told, a derivative of the Northstar. Can't remember if Caddy's had the Northstar back in '95, though.

Anyway...that dumb Olds has a water pump that's kinda cast into the block. Stupid enough design that we decided against dealing with it in the dorm parking lot, and based on how the parts looked when the mechanic showed them to us, it was the right call. At any rate, I'm thinking it's an oddball enough design that you might have to go dealership if that's the way it works.
