Need part number!!!

Hey guys,
I was out in the truck the weekend and snapped the main leaf spring in the rear on driver side. I need the factory part number so a shop can make up a new leaf spring pack. The truck is a 77 f150 , with three inch wide springs and five in the pack including the main and small one at bottom can anyone help me out

I don't have the original part number, but I can give you the dimensions. They're listed on page 65 of the NPD(National Parts Depot- 8th edition) catalog.

The spring dimensions are listed for the 75-79 F-150 4X4 rear axle.
1875 lb load
leaf width 3"
# of leafs 4/1
Length short end 24"
Length long end 31 1/2"
Free Arch 7 5/8"
NPD part number F-5560-38

Springs are stamped and can be cross referenced to Ford service numbers.

Do you not have a major spring manufacturing plant near you?

Haha to be hundred percent honest i dont have anything near me!!!. also the local guys at ford dealership would be lucky to find parts for a 2011 model let alone older stuff

The Ford parts catalog list D5TZ-5560-A as the spring for the rear of a '77 F150, however that spring is 2-1/2" wide not three.
I did some research and here's what I found:
D5UZ-5560-B is close and it's 3" wide.
Here are the dimensions between the two:
Dim. A = spring width, Dim. B is measured from front spring eye centerline to center bolt centerline, Dim. C is measured from center bolt centerline to rear spring eye centerline.
D5TZ, A=2-1/2" B=24" C=31-1/2" capacity=1875 lbs.
D5UZ, A=3" B=23-13/16" C=31" capacity=1825 lbs.
Both springs have 5 leaves.
It looks like, overall, if you dont already have the D5UZ spring, it will be 11/16" shorter and move the axle forward 3/16"

Did a little more research.
If you do have the 3" wide D5UZ-5560-B spring already, there should be the engineering number D5UA-5560-HB stamped on it someplace.
The 2-1/2" springs the catalog calls for would have D5TA-5560-AKA on them.

(sigh) As usual, the OP left out a very important detail: Is this F150 2WD or 4WD?

D3TZ-5560-J .. Rear Leaf Spring-5 leaf / 3" wide.

Applications: 1973/77 F250 4WD w/a GVW of 6200 lbs. / 1977/79 F150 4WD
