I bought this truck and put fresh gas in and sprayed carb cleaner into the carb because I could smell the old gas and then started it and drove it. It would start with a couple of tries when I turned the key then. So I thought it needed a new starter..I put one in started her right up first try of the key. I continued to try turning it on and off and did so six or eight times within a 10-15 min time and it started everytime no problem. then i let it sit for like an hour untill I went to get in it again and it gave me the buzzer like it normally does but no start so I tried again a little less buzzer tried again no buzzer(no indication noise that your about to start you vehicle.) so thats what happened it sounded like a bad battery so I checked the voltage and it was 12.5v so that's not the problem. I will replace the ground tomorrow. thank you for all of your posts I wanted to say how I got my self into this mess so you would know where I started.
