I've mentioned my dad's 1979 F350 here a couple of times, but I've never had pictures....until now. These are the only two he took of it, and I'm very lucky he even took these. If I had to guess, they're from the late 80's. He brought this truck from Indiana down to Florida, and shortly before I was born, he sold it to some dumb young kid. That dumb young kid ended up wrecking it a few weeks later, and I'm not sure what happened to it after that.

I don't know the exact specs, but I can guess as to what it had.

-1979 F350 Single Cab Longbed
-400 V8 (My dad thinks it had a 460, but no 4x4's had 460's until 1983)
-C6 Automatic (My dad didn't like manual transmissions)
-D60's front and rear
-Ranger Trim
-NP205 Transfer Case.
-4" lift, unknown manufacturer.

And that's all I have on it. It was a beautiful truck for sure.

Agreed! My dad always had trucks with red on them. He also had a Red/White 79 F150 4x2, one White/Red 1991 F150, one White/Red 1995 F150, and a Gunmetal Grey/Durango Red 1987 F150.

Is that orange or bittersweet??? If bittersweet my dad had the twin Bronco.

Looked awesome. I always liked that paint scheme as well. Gotta love the old hurricane wheels. I think slots & hurricanes are a great look for these trucks!
