Some people notice big differences, some don't.

The wiring is easy. The hardest part, and even this isn't that hard, is finding a good place to mount the stuff and mounting it securely.

As far as whats needed, there are a few ways to go and there many optional accessories that can be added on. I have a distributor, 6A OFFROAD, a rev limiter and the coil.

6A offroad, im interested. Whats the difference between that and the regular 6a box.

I got the 6A in my truck. Here are the pics. Super easy to wire up. Just follow the instructions. You can get the kit from MSD to plug into the factpry harness so you dont have to pull them out of the socket.

I had to make a new mount for my coil as the old one was all rotted out.

I havent opened up my offroad 6A to look for myself, but what I am told by a tech at MSD is that the offroad vesion is water proof, shock proof and heat proof because the internals of the unit are housed in ~1 inch thick heavy duty epoxy. Also, the external electrical connections are water proof. This is why it is better fo offroad use. The rev limiter that goes with it as an option is constructed the same way.

Think of the batteries on big diesel trucks - the guts are enclosed in epoxy to be able to withstand all the vibration. The offroad stuff from MSD uses the same basic idea.

I have the same setup as Chris, I noticed a little more power with the setup, I have the 6A box TFI blaster coil with the harness for plug and play, MSD cap and rotor button , Ford Racing wires.,
