Mission Accomplished

Finished installing the rear main seal in my 92 Flareside yesterday, thank God. That thing was leaking like a sieve, what a burden off my mind & my "to do" list, now onto the next project. Next project: Installing brake/clutch pedal bushing kit & master cylinder pushrod assembly. :WooHoo:

Cool. :)
Glad to hear you did it yourself! :)
I've never had to do one of those.
Was that a 351w?

IMO, that's a fun one to do, if you like standing on your head. LOL :)
Were you having metal to metal contact or what?

That was a 300 I-6. The master cylinder push rod has rounded out & the plastic bushing keeps breaking, so it's gotta go. The brake/clutch pedal bushings have never been replaced that I know of, so that should also help the problem from happening again, hopefully not for another 15 years. Yeah, nothing like standing on your head to fix something.
