If so let me know I need them for my SCS that I still haven't gotten around to getting pics of yet. By the way that pic is from 74SCS's gallery nice truck man.

I have an OK set of 8's two good pairs of 7 and 9. and one almost perfect 5. Even have a pair of 2's that needs to be repaited, I may end up using them if I can't find the ones in the pic.

#8

D5TZ17696A .. Mirror Kit / Right/Left is the same / Obsolete

First offered in 1975, usually seen on Camper/Trailer Specials.

The mirror head is D5TZ17723A

#3

D3TZ17696A .. Left Mirror Kit / Obsolete

D3TZ17696B .. Right Mirror Kit / Obsolete

Usually installed on 1973/74 Super Camper/Trailer Specials. The mirror head is C7TZ17723A

No Ford Dealer or oibsolete parts vendor has either side.
------------------------------------------------------
Note: #3 mirrors were also used on 1967/72's, but they are not the same mirrors as used on 1973/79's as the door contours are different.

Only the mirror head is the same.
--------------------------------
FYI: There were FOUR different versions of TYPE 9 Mirrors. The differences are:

1) How the mirror glass mounts into the head (with or without a gasket).

2) The size of the mirror head (and the part numbers) changed in 1978.

All are obsolete, but dozens are still available NOS from Ford Dealers/obsolete parts vendors.

I have seen all 4 versions of Type 9

Sure makes for frustrating times trying find matches to ones I have

All the best for 2011 Bill and Sylvia

May my Parcel from California travel safely to Canada in the next few days ;)

The mirror head: C7TZ17723A is the same from 1967 thru 1979.

It's obsolete, but some can still be found at Ford Dealers/obsolete parts vendors > >

MILLER OBSOLETE PARTS in Vestal NY has ONE = 607-722-5371.

ED BENNETT FORD PARTS in Lebanon PA has ONE = 717-272-8762.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has FOUR = 800-476-9653.

This mirror head is stainless steel with three embossed lines. The center line is longer than the other two.

Fits both types of high mount Western mirrors...with or without the 3rd steady-rest arm.
