Master Cylinder problems

About six months ago, I replaced the brake master cylinder on my '78 F150 because the front reservoir was leaking brake fluid to the rear reservoir. After about three months of problem solved, the rear reservoir is now leaking fluid to the front reservoir.

I am wondering if I just got a bad master cylinder, or is there more to this problem than that, i.e, vacuum booster or proportioning valve? Thank you all for any thoughts on this problem.

There are only a few MC's these days worth buying because they fail so often in a short time.

I swear by the MC's with a stainless steel sleeve.

Some people say the cast sleeve is better.

IMO replace it with an MC WITH a stainless steel sleeve.

I think EIS makes a SSS MC.

Just google it
