on a mass ar truck...yay or nay????I'v looked at all data and gotten the schematics...no go...so is there one or not?I'm tired of wondering n now I wanna know for sure!

If you have a MAF setup then there's a sensor in the same place a MAP sensor would be on a speed density system. Only thing is it's a baro sensor instead. (also shaped the same just the vacuum port is capped off).

It is the same sensor, it's just vented to atmosphere instead of attached to the intake, so it measures atmospheric pressure instead of manifold vacuum.

I always thought a map sensor was when you are driving down the road lost, and fumbling around with your hand under the seat trying to feel for the map. :D

You're wrong. It's a dedicated passenger for sensing when you're near a store that sells maps.

if your truck is a 94 or newer with factory mass-air then NO it does not have a map OR bap sensor!
