Lowering the rear?

Yeah I could but the block is really small and would only lower it maybe a 1''.
What about doing the axle flip, where you put the axle in side the leaf spring.

well then yea just pull the blocks out...Tex to do the axle flip kit there is fabrication involved and it'll drop it more than you intend to do...i think the shackle kit I gave you a link to is your best bet.

I wouldn't suggest it. Right now, the axle sitting below the spring, the weight of the truck is put on the spring. If the axle is above the springs, the weight is put on the ubolts. It would probably dramatically lower your payload.

lol........Look if the Lightning guys are getting the shackle kits and then flogging the trucks at the 1/4 miles track... there's nothing wrong with em and it'll take alot less time than setting up the spring mounts for the conversion...

might be all you need. i got 1" bigger tires and was quite pleased with the outcome. doesn't sound like a lot, but i noticed

Ok going with the DJM shackles 2 inch drop I would much rather it be more then 2 but for 50 bucks you can't beat that :D
