Lifting my 94 f150 4x4

I recently broke my axle radius arm on my truck and I am planning on putting a new 6" rough country on lift while I put new stock radius arms on as there were skyjacker ones before. I've never done much suspension work beside replacing the shocks. Has anyone else ever done this and have any advice or know if I need a specialty tools? Thanks for any input I appreciate it.

You would be better off putting in a straight axle from an early model truck.

Yea that would be ideal but that is out of my knowledge. I definitely have that in mind for a future project.
