i painted my wheels the other day with krlon's wheel paint. that stuff is awsome. it is tough and dries fast. and looks great and is a cheap way to go

Also, is there a specific type of Krylon, or is it just that brand? Did you need to prep the wheel, like sand and prime?

I use Krylon on everything that is a rattle can job...I'll second the fact that it's awesome.

I've used it on plastics and it's worked great, but don't know how good it would hold up to wheels.

I actually plan on using it on my turbines when I get around to them. If that doesn't hold up, then they'll get powder coated.

I find Krylon is great for hobbies and rattan/wicker furniture.

Plastic vs Lacquer vs Enamel Paint should not be taken likely

it is a rattle can job like utfball 68 say's. it is a wheel paint made by krylon. i cleaned the hell out of my wheels scuffed them with scotch bright and painted them and they look good.it has been a week of deer hunting and freeway driving with no chips or flakes yet.
