Easy huh? :)

Took me like a week to figure all that out! LOL :)
...and all the black/white nylon stuff came from an Ace Hardware.

The homemade tool for the retainer nut - Is that on old ratchet that you ground down?

No, it was a boxed-end wrench (3/8" x 7/16") the 3/8" was bent real bad.

I'd put a cheater pipe over it and used it to remove York compressor head
bolts. Yep, bent-to-crap it still worked! LOL :) The York bolts are 5/16"
with tiny 3/8" hex heads. :/ Anyway, so I cut it off and used the 7/16"
end shown there, it was about the right size O.D. so went with it. ;)

The ignition switch is 1" black pipe, it cool because it's big enough around
it provides its own handle. :)

I had no idea you were that wet behind the ears with these things Ben. smilietease

Also when you pull the headlight knob/shaft out don't pull it out all the way. After you push the button down then pull the shaft out a bit release the button then lightly push the knob/shaft back in and you can turn the headlights off without locking the shaft in place.

darnit, you beat me to this one. i was feeling excited cause no one knew it, and was gunna drop a bombshell. but you beat me

The shaft will slide out without problem if you don't press the button down until the shaft is in the Headlights on position

This is why so many get stripped or broken, this is a finesse deal not a muscle deal

Well I got a few out with no breakage...so I musta finessed enough...which isn't typical for me.
