keeping vinyl soft

I just thought I would share this, on all my trucks I use baby oil to keep my seats soft and plyable. A old body man from years ago told me this and it works! That is why I have 4 original lariat seats [2 red,1 tan and one brown] all in mint pristine factory condition.

A dedicated vinyl conditioner would give you even better results, but the key to making vinyl last is proper oils and moisturizers. (Let's not forget a thorough cleaning regimen...)

Meguiar's #40 (PN: M4016) should do the trick. You'll probably have to order it online.

Also look into Chemical Guys VRP.

Thanks, miottimouse I'd never give it a thought about baby oil for conditioning vinyl, another one that works too is Old English furniture polish that leaves a nice mild lemon scent that is not overpowering, but a light scent
