10/77 production date: 1978 assembled in October of 1977.
X26 = F250 4WD Super Cab Pickup.
4th digit of the VIN is the engine code. 1977/79 F150/250 4WD & 1979 F350 4WD: H = 351M / S = 400.
Ford did not offer a 4V carb and manifold for these two engines in cars or trucks, all were 2V's only.
And, for the nth time, there is no such thing as a 400M, it's just plain 'ol 400!
