I just bought an 04 F150 XLT Supercab rear wheel drive. I have a bounce or vibration when I hit any bump, small or large. It seems worse up to about 50 miles per hour. On smooth roads, I feel a slight vibration. I have been reading some of the forums and know that other truck owners have this problem. I rebalanced the tires and checked the front end allignment. It is still there. I plan on buying new tires. Would replacing the shocks help? How about a stiffer shock? I need some help. The truck is in wonderful shape and I love it. The vibration is verh annoying.

Welcome to FTF. How many miles on the truck. If your truck has over 50,000 miles new shocks could benefit you, but have you made sure your frontend is tight? I know you said you had the alignment checked, but unfortunately some places don't go through all of the steps. I would verify that everything is tight just to be sure. Also you may want to post this question in the section for your year truck. There are alot of knowledgable people here who should be along shortly to give you more advice.

Welcome to the site.

04 had a common problem with vibrations in the rear end. One of the Tech's might be able to give some more details on the subject.
