Ford F-150 Limited Edition. Less than 120k miles. 4x4, Lifted with 33' wheels, V8 351 engine, extended cab, tan "like-new" interior, aftermarket head unit, power windows +smoking windows, & towing hitch. Brand new drive shaft, starter, heater hoses, and battery. The only problems are rear gas tank leaks, motor for the driver side power window does not work (easy fix), may need rear tires soon, and it has erratic idle. He is asking $2500.

I wouldn't pay more than 1200 just because of the fact that it looks like a halfassed turd and has those issues. Hell, I got 2800 for my flareside and it hauled ***, looked good and got good mileage.

That's lookin pretty rough. I would pass unless you are looking for a minor project to fix up.

What part of the country are you in? Where I live that would be a good price, everybody wants too much for their vehicles. I personally wouldn't pay more than $1000 for it.

Doesn't seem horrible to me....have a grand in tires/wheels and lift is already done. I'd probably talk him down to 1800-2k tops, in this economy .

I'd pass, looks like it was beat on. You'd be the one that has to replace everything (already you said gas tank leaks, rear tires bald, has the tranny been abused? body is rough... was it properly lifted?!)

don't get fooled in by a clean interior, really check this truck mechanically!

Curious as to what makes it a 'limited edition'. That said...I don't think $2500 is that bad of a price and is certainly a good starting point. If you're looking to buy it, accentuate the leaky gas tank and erratic idle and don't go any higher than 2k...I'd probably offer 1500 to start.

Wow, I'm gonna start flipping trucks around you guys. That truck ain't worth squat here.

I figure you can get $4-500 scrap for that truck...and it runs/drives gotta bump it over a grand to the $1250 range. Now factor in 4x4 and the 'extras' tacks on a couple more hundred. While the exterior isn't my flavor, it does look pretty straight...and that's always worth a couple hundred more.

Ah, but you're picking its features apart and not necessarily evaluating the truck as a whole. It runs like crap, it's rattle canned(and not even decently), there's no interior pics, its got rust all over it......that's no more than 1200 bucks.....if he's lucky. He could probably get his asking if he parted and scrapped it, but as a whole, the seller is asking too much IMHO.

First of all, something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it....second, a smart guy will want to ask higher than what he's willing to take in order to get close to his "must have" price.

True on both points but the guy that pays anywhere within 800 bucks of that guy's asking price is the same guy that'll pay 50 bucks for a dog turd spray painted gold.

I think "Rust" is a relative term depending where you are from.

I'd say with it's current conditions, I'd feel comfortable at 1500, but it sure is ugly.
