Is the Dealership up to something here.....

Gents (And ladies)

I took my truck in Monday morning for a rear pinion seal leak. 300 dollar fix. Well, 4 days later it still isnt done. Saying they dont have the right wrench that is small enough to get in somewhere.

Its hard for me to believe that with a 12 year old truck they have never had to do this before and frankly I am getting a little short with them now. Can anyone verify this, as I thought this was a straight forward replacement.

First off, I'm one that whenever I see any number of "Magic words" I completely ignore that post and don't offer any help of amy kind. You're new, so I just edited it out. Because you are new, I'll offer this.....the socket in question is an inch and 3/16, which is a little scarce. Especially since the "dealerships" require you to have your own tools. But, it just takes a phone call to the local parts store to get one.
