Well after all the hub bub with the Bronco, I found solice in Red that I could hop in and go anywhere with absolutely zero problems. Well yesterday and this morning begged to differ.

-I hop in last night, I turn the head light switch so the dome will come on. No such luck. I open the door and the light is on, but will not come on with the head light switch. Time for a new switch.

-It's down pouring last night, and I realize I only have one speed for my windshield wipers. Low speed came on just fine, I turn it to high speed, it remained on low. Loose wire or maybe time for a new switch.

-While driving last night, the left hand side of the dash panel decided to burn out. Probably time for a HIPO LED upgrade.

-This morning I hop in to come to work. The first time I use my turn signals, they come on solid and won't blink. They cancel just fine though. I also have e-flashers, so I'm assuming the signal switch either broke or shifted.

So no real issues, more venting than anything, unless I'm wrong on my diagnoses, then as always post away.

When it rains it pour.

No doubt...my dad always said when you have old vehicles, you need to have 3 to keep one on the road...and I'm believing that more and more every day.

In all 4 cases? I did find it odd though that all the issues were bundled up so close.

man that sucks. ive been going through the same thing for the past 6 months. itll get better though. its starting to for me.

Thanks. I'm not really down, but at least now I can see the appeal to a newer rig. Bring it in, let their *** hang over the fender and figure out what's wrong. Not to mention, you're not dealing with 30 year old stuff or trying to track down 30 year old stuff, etc. I'm really thinking about folding and just pick up an earl 2000's Jag and let Red go back in hiding in the car port, start the Bronco transformation and get around to Thunder whenever. It's alot more fun to work on rigs for pleasure than necessity.

Jag's are a Ford basically but the parts are alot more expensive. Since all your issues are in the same area check for loose wires and corrosion like Dennis said. Check the grounds, etc. It's always nice to have a new car, but where's the adventure in that?

Very true...but the Bronco was never purchased to be a DD, it was purchased to be a trail/mud runner...but kinda took over DD duties when Thunder crapped out. But I'm just talking out of frustration right now. As soon as everything gets back to normal, I'll be happy as can be.

Well it looks like a fun daily driver and you can still have fun on some trails so it is dual purpose. I'm sure you will get your issue all figured out soon.

Oh Ben,... stop whining!smilietease

Seriously though, it does seem odd that this all happened at once. Red looks so pristine I assumed that all the electrical, etc. was replace/refurbished also.

Our old Fords. Love em' and hate em'!! :)

Check all your grounds, especially for the turn signals. Good luck!

Thanks Dak...keep in mind most of this stuff was done 7 years ago or was reused stock stuff, and the truck would sit for up to 6 months at a time. So all of it will be easily enough fixed, but I'm just sick of having to fix stuff. But in the end, it's good learning, and all it needs is a little time, a little know how and some cash for new parts (potentially).

And to top it off, the brake pedal seemed pretty soft over lunch, sure enough, the MC was pretty low.
