Installing streetglow runningboard lights...

I'm going to be installing a set of streetglow led sidebar lights. These are the 57" long strips with amber for running lights and white for puddle lights. Has anyone else installed these (on any vehicle) before? I'm trying to figure out the best location to pick up the power for the puddle lights. The parking light circuit is easy. I'll just tap in at the trailer wiring harness at the hitch mount.

I would say in your mirrors if they have puddle lights in them. I don't know where they feed from though.

Could also tap into the rearmost overhead light (since it's not user-controllable from the inside, but does come on when the doors are open). That way you won't have to worry 'bout them coming on if somebody flips a map light on.

I would wire it into the dome light circuit. That way it'll come on when you unlock the doors with keyless entry

Speaking of, how are the dome lights wired into the stock puddle lights on the bottom of the mirrors?

The dome lights are a great idea. Especially the rear dome light since I'm going to run the reverse light lead to the back and pick it up from the trailer wiring harness. I'll have to watch the dome lights and see if they come on at the same time as the mirror's puddle lights.
