where all the cabs punched with the hole for the internal gas tank??

Every 1961/72, some 1973/77's.

Ford offered a plug to cap off the hole if it wasn't used for a filler neck.

1969/72's offered an in-cab storage unit that took the place of the tank. When this was installed, the 25 gallon optional auxillary tank became a mandatory order.
