We don't have any now, but it did snow last week (nothing accumulated) still have a snow bank behind our barn, though, where its shady almost all day.

North of us, in the Minot area, (ND had a ton of snow this winter) They are just starting planting because their fields were under water due to flooding from all the snow.

I haven't seen snow in years.
But I have seen hail get about 17'' deep before :)

It's been a really mild year. Normally you'd be seeing highs peaking in the 90's by now in MO, but we're just barely scraping 80 on our hot days.

We've had some nice days here in MN, actually HOT the past couple, but the wind is terrible. I'm lucky enough to at least have a small 2 car garage to work in and if I didn't I wouldn't get nothing done from Nov-May.

in alberta, summer comes a different week every year.

it is our proximity to the mountains that cause snow storms that are possible every month of the year.

at least i have leaves at my place :)

alberta has something called a 'humid continental' climate

We had snow on the ground at my house from just before Christmas right into April. In the most shady parts of the mountain where the plows built up huge snow berms there are still small amounts visable. However the entire mountain is now in bloom and green, green, green. Now comes fire season again.... which I hate!! But at least for now I can play with Burt outside on the mountain, since I don't have a garage there, only at the "city house"

I built a porch for a customer a while back with a pretty wide span between support posts with a steel fich plate.
The city inspector came out to look at it and turned it down and asked me what if it knows ?
And I said; What ?
He said ; What if it knows ?
I said ; What if it knows what ?
He said ; What if it knows and puts weight on that span.
I said; oohhh, sssnooowwww !
It doesn't know around here enough to woory about that kind of weight.
He said; Put more support in.

That's funny. Did you put more support under it?
