Well I finally figured out where the "new place" was. I came over from the "other Ford trucks site".

I've driven fords since I was about 8 (my dad's red and white 69). I currently have an 08 supercrew, 05 escape and an 05 focus (if that counts). My current project is a rust-free 79 f150 4x4 from California. I have a 466 to put in someday (hopefully).

I also have a 77 TransAm that is sitting in Dad's pasture in western Kansas.

I am a systems engineer for a large electric utility in downtown KC.

my username on the other site was dlburch. hung out in the 73-79 and Kansas forums for the most part. Just kind lurked and watched some of the over there!

OK...so the same automotive forum as me then. You're not kidding about the drama. A lotta folks over there seem to be more worried about what their daddy's grandpa's uncle's dog said was the answer than actually contributing helpful correct information.
