Hello, my name is shae and i live in red rock, tx. i'm 31 and a father of 2 boys a 9 year old and a 1 month old and have a 3 year old daughter (the shotgun is in layaway btw) i like fishing, which has been a while. going to the lake, going for back road rides with my german sheperd (chuck). fixing stuff. spending time with family. I am unemployed, which really sucks, but i do get by, by any means possible. i own a 2001 ford ranger 3.0 xlt flex fuel, a 92 honda civic (i replaced drive axials tie rods, wheel bearings, new tires and batteries but needs a alignment, been sitting for about a year), and a 99or2000 mazda b3000(blown head or head gasket on that). my ranger which i love and would probably pick over my wife if ever in that spot lol 
well the other day my water pump went out (i pulled over as soon as i seen the temp go up, i didn't dare risk blowing up my girl), had water coming out the hole thing. so i got a new one and put it on with a new thermostat. i flushed the system and made sure to get all the air out. well on test drive, at first it ran great. about 3 miles into my trip the truck started losing power. rpms shot up. hard to keep her going. got home and checked water level and check for leaks well had no leaks but was loosing water. well i let her run in park and noticed water bubbling up out the radiator which looked a little oily. (f*ck me) i check oil dip stick and there was no froth or water in oil. hmmm i filled her with more water thinking maybe i didnt get all the air out and it never did run HOT. put radiator cap back on and let her idle. while this is going on i was have a loud screeching going on. so i start thinking well maybe with the pump working at full strength it put more stress on the belt, so i got another and still squealed, i took the pullies of my mazda and put on the ford, i checked sniffnes and rotation of my clutch fan and power steering pump. seems fine not catching or freezing and i also changed the spark plugs and put the alternator from mazda into ford. i took off inlet and outlet lines for heater core to see if i had clog, ran water through it with a hose and it was'nt clogged, i checked the bypass on the upper intake manifold and it was clear. i also made sure the over flow wasnt clog and the radiator cap should be good cause thats only a few weeks old. so i started her up. im still loosing water and bubbles coming up and started smoking alot of white smoke out the tail pi e but the screeching stopped. this truck builds up some serious pressure with the radiator cap on. i had steam/water start blowing out thermostat housing so i tightened that down, then came out the heater core connections. so i figure i have a blown head gasket and the water is escaping. I get it all apart no problems. I got a new head gasket set and new head bolts, and the other necessary stuff. so while cleaning up my parts i decided to take out my lifters and clean them. while cleaning i noticed numbers on them and they where different for each one. my question is are those lifters suppose to be in a certain order? and if so does anyone know what order? I should have done those one at a time but i wanted to check them and thought it was ok cause they all looked the same. i got in a hurry. I would appreciate anyones advice or help on this.
