how to remove powersteering pump pulley

Tricks are for steel pulleys. Although you could make it work for a plastic pulley. You would concentrate on gently warming the shaft, not the pulley.

But (much like when Tony looks in the mirror)-- the shaft is too small :rofl: But seriously... It'd be pretty hard to isolate all the heat to JUST the shaft.

Not really, touch the shaft with another piece of metal and heat that and let it transfer. Hair dryer or heat gun also comes to mind on the plastic pulleys. Just got to be creative Chris, thats all.

lol.. dont worry i broke the damn thing of.. im going to get a new ps pump.. might as well get a new pulley while im at it :)

Well we all might learn something though out of this, or at least have some other options to try next time before breaking the pulley.

yup.. i know.. glad to learn something new but the pump was shot anyway.. i mean the bracket 100% covered in ps fluid.. and i dont want ps fluid all over my new engine soo...
