How hard is it to change the shift lever on an automatic diesel f250, 1999. I had a powersteering hose spring a leak. When I went to move out of park without the hydroboost working, broke the end of shift lever off. Might want to check steering lines on trucks, the line wore a hole in it from rubbing on the frame. the pressure line to hydraboost is close to frame, and nothing to protect it, the other line has a steel sleeve on it. Is there a fix for the plastic end, or does it need a new lever?
