How do you pull this main pulley crank thing???

I'm no rocket surgeon, I don't even know what this is called.

It's where the main crank pulley attaches to... well... the crank.

I'm trying to get the timing cover off and I don't know how to get this sucker off. Yes, I pulled the main bolt in the center.

see the 4 bolt holes in the front? Thats where you hook up the puller. Kind of like a steering wheel puller.

Harmonic Balancer is the part, you need a harmonic balancer puller... You can pick them up for $20 or so, or do the loaner tool program.

Check the rubber in the balancer.....
