I was just curious about what design you were going with.I have an X pipe on the '79,and an H pipe on the '78.Both are 400 engines with headers,and I can't tell that one has any advantage over the other.
That's what I've thought as well, as long as pressure is equalized, I don't see there being any noticeable differences. Numbers might be a little different on a dyno, or if you're putting out big numbers...but with a stock-moderate build, I don't think any seat of the pants difference will be seen.
