Ohhh okay. That makes sense. So it sounds like maybe they switched to a D60 when they switched to the coil sprung front end?

D60 in the Super Dutys started in '02.

there all solid but the difference is the D50 and D60.

Yup, well except for the 2wd's those are ttb.





I thought that a D50 was pretty much a d60 housing with d44 internals?

Dana 50 was made in TTB and solid...my 97 350 was a 60, as was the 99, 00 and 02.
