Welcome, that NorCal or SoCal?

Welcome to FTF

Thanx.
Love Oklahoma & Texas life.Use to live in North Texas near lake texohma, got
caught in it in the middle of the night during a thunder storm in a 14ft boat,
THAT WAS NOT FUN!Picture yourself in the ocean in a dingy...:headbang:

Well,I should have told alittle bit more about myself.Im an rc adict an been
involved in it for over 20 yrs,an been involved in 6 different rc forums for
nearly 10 yrs.Thats why I have pics of all my stuff.

I finally have to let rc buying & builds go for now,an start doing more
to my 68 f100.So since I been into rc forums,I figured theres got to be
a 1.1 vehicle forum around so I can see what other folks are doing to
their rides....So,here I will be....:wavey:

I always wanted to build a Bumpside into a true r/c vehicle...

Not sure what your calling a bumpside,But if its what I see in your sig,it is
possible. There is rc folks that custom build tractors trailers an one off
dual wheeled, 6x6 custom trucks. They also do trail blazers & full functional
rock crawlers with winches.
Those two I have yet to build.I was on the process of doing a trophy truck
baja build with a solid rear axle, with a ford raptor body, which I do have
the axle an body.

'67-'72 F-Series are Bumpsides, '73-'79 F-Series are Dentsides.

I've seen many of the scale rigs, I want a 1:1 scale rc Bumpside.

Ah,gotcha.

If Im not mistakin,The rc body industry may have a production of one.
They have to get aproved by the car manufactures for the designs..
I think.
I would have to see if there is one out there.
Ive also been wanting a 49 merc body for one of my street rides.
I was tired of seeng the same style of rc bodies & cars,an decided
that I want to build some of my rc's with classic hot rod bodies on
them.
Most rcer's only use up to date racing style bodies, like sc truck,mt,or
tuner type street racing bodies.

Yep, seen the 1/10 body in '67-'72...

Yea I thought they was one in production.Which sometimes one off bodies,
there has to be a dire demand for before a manufacturer will think about
producing, some times they will fade out,so,If you are serious about getting
one,you better get it.:)
