Hello ,
Im new to the forum but i have a 79 ford f 250 4WD reg cab and my front gas tank leaks anyone know were the best place is to buy one please let me know.

What part of it is leaking ? Gaskets and hoses can be replaced. Is it metal or plastic ? Plastic can be welded.

It's plastic but it has a crack going from the top to the about 4 inches from the top I have been saving up to buy a new so I won't have to deal with leaking anymore I have already replaced the gaskets for the filler and the vent hoses

If the tank is up front and is the plastic one that fits inside the frame rail, you will be stuck with repairing the one you have, or finding a used one. They are obsolete and no one makes an aftermarket substitute. The shroud around the tank is also not available. They tend to rust out because Ford installed foam rubber in the bottom of the shroud, thus retaining water, and the rest is rusty history.
