Help me track down a part...

So my remote start recently went haywire and stopped working (including my keyless entry).

I have a feeling it might have to do with my shoddy wiring job (I installed that thing before I knew how to PROPERLY wire something). So I got another one on eBay and this time around I'm trying to use the T-Harness that Bulldog Securities USED to sell... This is basically just a pigtail that goes inline in my ignition harness with all the needed connections already tapped with wires hanging off for me to connect to. This way I don't have to tap directly into my ignition harness (like it is now).

Problem is-- the company that made these t-harnesses for B.S. folded, and now I can't find them ANYWHERE! The one I need is model number FD-1. Here's what it looks like:

Notice that their website says "Discontinued" and doesnt let me buy it. I've been searching all over google and can't find a single (non-sketchy) site that is selling them. I figure several heads is better than one. You guys mind helping me track one of these things down?

Hmm I dont know about them things. I know my dad installed one on my moms 99 F350 with a v10 but I never saw how he did it and we lost the remote starter for it.

I've already been to both those links Aaron. If you click Add to Cart on the first one, you get an error... Doesn't speak much to quality of their site...

And yeah the rest say sold out... Now you see how much a problem I'm having

I've got an idea!

First person to find one from a site that won't scam my sorry butt gets a free vinyl decal of their choice, on my tab Of course within reason-- it can't be 10 feet long.

How long ago did they stop making them? have they been discontinued for a few years?
If so it may be next to impossible to find it...
But i'll keep a eye open..

I don't think it was THAT long ago... Mike (msb71) bought one for his truck, I think it was this last Summer (less than a year ago).

I'm starting to think maybe the parts shipped from the maker, some places do that with online sales.
And if that's the case then no body stocked the harness... Keep checking Ebay or your gonna have to buy another system.

Call around to all the shops around your area that install remote starters and maybe that will pan out!!!
