Hello

Hello everyone, My name is Bryce and I've recently joined Ford Truck Fanatics.
I am a student going to the University of Alberta, studying mechanical engineering.
I've grown up around cars and engines my entire life, but never had the chance to rebuild my own.

Finally my time came this past summer, when my grandpa had to move off the acreage and into the city. Like always there were countless items to sell, throw out, or keep for inheritance. I have always wanted my grandpa's 76 Ford F150 Ranger to rebuild, so due to inheritance I now own it and can't wait to get started!
The engine has an original 50K miles on it. The engine is a 460 cu.in. The truck was pre-ordered by my grand father back in the day, to tow old farm equipement around from one farm to another. It was definitely a working truck. Grandpa ordered a super-duty 250 suspension to handle the heavy equipement.
It had not been road driven since the 80's which is when my dad left home. Everything is rather fragile now.
Unfortunately it did not get parked inside (somewhere safe), it got parked outside where the sun could take a beating at it.
Since I am a student paying for my own tuition, money is a little tight, so the project will be slow at first till school is done. I plan on re-tuning the engine this summer.
