whats the deal with the IFS on my truck is it worth while or should i swap for a solid axle??

I thought 350 4x4's had straight axles until the late 90's?????? You sure you don't have a re-badged 250?????? What's the VIN?????

You've got IFS front?wow......I woulda thought it had been a straight axle. There ain't nothin wrong with the TTB front...they tend to ride better than a straight axle.....

Yeah except they're a PITA to work on or lift and weak as all get out...but if you're not wheeling, then it's perfect for around town.

i guess anythings possible with the badging dont really know alot about the truck got it on the cheap 500 bucks figured id build a mudder

Just post the VIN and we'll let you know what you have.

they're not hard to lift and they are not weak....given the fact you want to build a mudder......dog the hell outta the TTB you got in there now and then swap in a Str8 axle......believe me you could swap em out off the get go but no one is lookin for a TTB front!

Sorry...not hard to lift, but expensive as hell to lift. And they are weak as piss...unless you consider muddy road traveling as 'wheeling. They're just weak...so don't plan on anything bigger than 35's.
