Hello all, new to site and need help

I own a 2001 F350 SD DRW with the 7.3. The wire going from the air intake heater relay to the heater and from the heater to the ground melted. I believe that the relay or the heater or both are bad and caused this. The bigger problem is the truck will not start now and I am not sure of what to look for now. Any ideas would be appreciated.
