Hello All I'm just starting out

Hey everyone. I hope to develop some good relationships here. I am a loyal Ford owner. My first was a 1973 F100 2wd, then purchase a brand new 1978 Bronco, best vehicle I ever owned and still own. (It is in sad shape now and may cost me my marriage.) I owned a 1970 Galaxy, a 1978 Mustang, 1980 Granada, 1967 Mustang, 1986 Escort, 1988 Taurus, 1993 Taurus, 1997 Mystique, 2001 Taurus, 1998 F250, 2001 F250, 2004 F250 and a 2005 Escort.
Wow, didn't realize I had owned so many. As I said, my best was the 1978 Bronco and the worst was the 1980 Granada.

I love the camp, fish, hunt, shoot, hike, tie flies, make wine and relax in the outdoors. I am an accomplished gunsmith, tool & die maker, and have taught at a couple technical colleges. I love inventing and making things, but I haven't come up with the thing to retire on yet.

Please feel free to email me and we can chat.

Later,

Mark (Redxlt)

Welcome to FTF! Feel free to post up some pics of your Fords if you have some. We'd like to see. Don't worry about your marriage. I'm sure there are a few other marriages on the rocks here because of these trucks.

Sounds like you'll fit in here Mark! Your list of past rigs sounds about like mine and I've messed around building custom muzzleloading rifles back in the 70's and 80's.

My first new Ford truck was a 77 F100 2wd 300 ci.

My latest is a '50 F4 dualie that I just put new tires on. In fact the old trucks have become my passion. Current line up includes a 48 F1, 48 F6, 50 F4, 52 F2 and 52 F6. They keep following me home.

Oh, in case I forgot - Welcome!

Welcome Mark...you're singing to the choir, I think most here can relate. If you have any pics, post them up. Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for all the good welcomes. You all sound like we are good friends because of our common love for ford trucks. I hope to get my Bronco ready for the street again in the spring. I have the power train lined out, but the brakes, steering and cooling system will be my next challenge. After that I can drive it while I work on it. I plan to make it my off-road toy again. It has had quite a history already. I'll tell you more as we go along. Thanks again for the welcome. Redxlt
