So my cousins studs broke off, and instead of removing restrictive manifolds fixing the studs and putting back on. I ordered a set of Pasesetter Shortys for a 97-03 F150/Expedition 5.4L, did a little research and figured out they were the same as the SD, there was only 1 difference, there was a port on the drivers header for the EGR, the SD did not have that. So we cut the bug off and welded the hole up. So it only took 1hr to get both manifolds off, crusty studs and all, but took like 4 hrs to bolt the headers up. The pipes are just in the way and you cant get a socket on all the bolts. Most were wrenched. So here are some pics.
Passenger Header, only mod: Cut top of motor mount to clear.
Drivers Header, cut flange for dip stick tube(wasnt trying to take it out) and Remove EGR port.
