Harmonic balancer

Noticed that the rubber portion of my hamonic balancer was squishing out/cracking in a few places... Is this bad? (click on the picture if it appears small)

I'm pretty sure someone already mentioned this in another thread, but yea.. it can shift and cause issues.

If the belting is disintegrating, i would get it done before it becomes an issue...

Whoa!! No way. I found a site selling the stock part for $72. I'll probably go that route.

Lol, I was just making a joke. You definitely don't need one of those for a stock 351.

The one god point of the Fluidamper, never have to do it again... you can likely even buy the stock piece locally. I know we stock some at Autozone..
